Guidance Officer Support

Karumba State School is provided Guidance Officer support on a referral basis. Our Guidance Officer is based at Normanton State School and provides support to schools in the Gulf. Parents, students and teachers have access to this support when required.

North West Queensland Primary Health

Karumba State School has access to the services of North West Queensland Primary Health on a rotational and referral basis. Students have hearing and sight screening annually with these health providers. The program also provides education to our staff and students about health issues such as; healthy eating, the importance of exercise and keeping our teeth clean.
